:: Membership
There would be a membership to the 'Punjab
Medical College Old Students' Association UK and Ireland'. This includes
medical graduates of Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad Pakistan, subscribing
to the aims & objectives of the association and residing in UK and
Ireland.
Applicants from countries other than UK and Ireland are eligible for
an 'Associate Membership'
of the Association. The Executive Committee will approve the application
for membership. There shall be no discrimination on the basis of religion,
ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation in the membership of the Association.
Members must comply with the rules of the Association.
The Membership
Request Form is designed to incorporate interactivity and useful
integration of data in future. Based upon the correct information provided
by the members, they would be allocated a unique membership ID. The
membership ID identifies the session at PMC, name and birthday of the
member.
:: Membership Fee & Annual Contribution
Membership Fee and annual contribution
is only applicable to PMC graduates residing in UK and Ireland. Graduates
from other countries are offered free membership.
The committee has unanimously agreed that the
Membership Fee would be £15. The annual
contribution towards the PMCOSA funds would be £10.
This contribution would be payable by standing order / direct debit
on the first day of every year. Members shall pay annual contribution
in due time and be entitled to a right to vote and hold office. The
association is committed to utilise its funds in constructive activities,
only after obtaining a majority vote from its members. The finance secretary
is obliged to disclose its funds to the members on agreed arrangements.
