During the PMC Alumni get together, the organisers are offering CME activities which earn 2 CPD points to the attendees. This is an interesting trend where doctors can share their expertise, new methods of treatment and medical knowledge amongst the fellow PMCians.  Fellow graduates are encouraged to take part in such constructive and informative activities on the platform of PMCOSA. The presenters are, after all, paying gratitude to their mother institute by paying back something that they are very proud of.

The academic programme for 27th August is as follows:
  • 14:00 – ‘Primary Care Management of Type 2 Diabetes’ by Dr Khalid Mahmood Daar, General Practitioner, Croft Shifa Health Centre, Rochdale.
  • 14:30 – Discussion
  • 14:40 – ‘Musculo-skeletal Imaging – What are your Choices?’ by Dr Muhammad Mubashar, Consultant Radiologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer, University Hospital South Manchester.
  • 15:10 – Discussion
  • 15:20 – ‘Doctor – Have I got cancer?’ by Mr Hassan Mukhtar, Consultant Colo-rectal Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer, Wittington Hospital, UCL London.
